LEH International School Foshan's next Secondary School Open Day Event will take place on Saturday 22 November 2025. We encourage all prospective families to attend and meet our Headteacher, Mrs Jane Arden on the award-winning campus. British Taster Lessons


For our secondary students (aged 11-17), we are offering two engaging taster lessons led by our dynamic faculty members:

 

Head of Chemistry

Dr Karl Emmerton

Dr Karl Emmerton is a highly experienced Science teacher and educational leader with over 20 years of extensive international experience in China, Egypt, Jordan, the Gambia, and the UK. Before joining LEH Foshan, he taught in a well-known British School in Guangzhou, responsible for pastoral care and teaching general Science to students in Years 6-9, as well as IGCSE and A-level Chemistry and Biology. Throughout his career, Dr Emmerton has been dedicated to the development of Science departments, curriculum planning, and the integration of innovative teaching methods. He is passionate about extracurricular activities, having organised numerous Science and STEAM events, as well as being involved in Scouting and the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme.

Dr Emmerton holds a PhD in Ecological Relationships from the University of Sheffield, an MSc in Ecological Management from Imperial College, and a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Brighton. He also completed a PGCE at the University of Portsmouth.

 

 

Teacher of Biology

Mr Campbell Clark

Mr Campbell Clark, a dedicated and experienced educator with over six years of teaching experience across South Africa and Oman, joins LEH Foshan as a Biology teacher. He holds a BSc Human physiology, Genetics and Psychology from the University of Pretoria and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of South Africa. Mr Clark has developed and refined his educational approach within diverse classroom settings, emphasising interactive learning and technological integration. Throughout his career, Mr Clark has consistently demonstrated his ability to enhance student engagement and academic performance. Passionate about both the sciences and education, he is poised to make a significant impact on the Science department at LEH Foshan. Outside the classroom, Mr Clark enjoys mountain biking, writing and reading.
