Prep Teacher & Science Coordinator

Mr Alexander Tennant

Mr Tennant joins the LEH Foshan Prep School team and works as a Year 6 teacher. In his teaching career of nearly 10 years in both UK and China, Mr Tennant has gained a diverse range of teaching skills from teaching adults and children Wing Chun for a worldwide Martial Arts Organisation to working as an ELL teacher. He has rich experience in building and maintaining excellent student relationships.

Mr Tennant has a bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemical Science from the University of the West of England and completed a PGCE qualification.

Ms Kirsty Robbins

Ms Kirsty Robbins joins LEH Foshan as a Prep School Teacher with 12 years of diverse experience in primary education and English as a Second Language instruction. Her international teaching career spans China, Hong Kong, Italy, and beyond, where she has developed particular expertise in bilingual education and inquiry-based learning approaches.

Most recently teaching at an international Chinese school in Beijing, Ms Robbins specialised in Year 1 bilingual instruction, creating engaging, student-centered lessons. Her global experience has endowed her with exceptional cross-cultural teaching skills and the ability to adapt her practice to diverse learning environments.

Ms Robbins holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Education from the University of Aberdeen and an MSc in Management and English Language Teaching (with Merit) from the University of Stirling. She earned her BA (Hons) in Spanish and Latin American Studies, further enhancing her multicultural perspective. As a full member of the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS), she maintains the highest professional standards in education.
