As the founding students of LEH Foshan, this class holds a special place in our hearts and history. They have experienced the formative years of LEH Foshan firsthand and vividly recall how the school began as a close-knit community amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite these uncertain times, they embarked on a path filled with new experiences and opportunities, contributing to the school's development and exemplifying our school motto – Hope Favours the Bold.

These students were the first to walk through our doors, embracing the vision of a new educational journey with boundless curiosity and commitment. They were the first to explore our state-of-the-art facilities, using them to enhance their learning, craftsmanship, and creativity. As the first residents of our modern boarding rooms, they gained independence and vital life skills, preparing them confidently for university life and beyond. They were the first to savour the delicious and diverse meals prepared in our canteen and the first to leave their footprints on our sports fields.
From the inaugural school assembly to the first cultural festivals and academic competitions, their journey has been a remarkable tapestry of growth and discovery. As they grow with the school, they are the first to take on leadership roles, becoming mentors to younger students, leading various school events, and exemplifying collaboration, communication, and compassion. As they progress to Sixth Form, they are the first to benefit from our university guidance programme, securing offers from top universities, including some ranked in the global top 10.
Their embodiment of the school’s 8C values along with their enthusiasm and involvement, helped create a vibrant, inclusive community that is now a hallmark of LEH Foshan. They have set a precedent in academic excellence, extracurricular achievements, and community spirit, leaving an enduring legacy for future generations.

Naomi, one of our graduates, captured the essence of their journey in her graduation speech:
We are the pioneers, the first home-grown cohort to graduate from LEHF. We embarked on this journey together, and what a journey it has been. We were the first to navigate the halls of this institution, to establish traditions, and to set the standard for those who will follow in our footsteps. Amidst the challenges and uncertainties, we found strength in each other's company. One memory that particularly stands out is our secret gatherings in the bathroom during Year 11, sharing laughter and stories over instant tteokbokki. We were daring, perhaps a little reckless, but oh, how alive we felt in those moments. Scared of being caught, yet the thrill of rebellion bonded us even closer. Now, here we are, on the brink of a new chapter. We have grown up, matured, and evolved in ways that we never thought possible. Today, we stand on the threshold of adulthood, ready to embark on our separate paths, each one of us pursuing our own dreams and passions.

Words from Our Head of Sixth Form
Mrs Kirk, Head of Sixth Form, expresses her reflections on the journey of these remarkable students:
I wish to say a fond farewell to our graduates. It was with this cohort that they and I went through the strange start of online teaching where no one knew what everyone looked like because many of them only showed their foreheads for many months. The tentative steps taken towards trusting the unknown teachers online, the patience and humour shared as technology frustrated us all, and then the huge leap to actually coming to school in masks and meeting each other in person developed a bond that has lasted to this day. I have been so touched to watch you grow into a tight circle of friends, always looking out for each other, welcoming others, sadly saying goodbye to some – though no doubt not completely - and finally reaching this point where you have applied to, been accepted for, and now have a whole new adventure waiting for you in universities and colleges throughout the world.
