Key Stage 3, AGES: 11 - 13 (YEAR 7 - 9)
Students aged 11 to 13 (Year 7 – 9) follow the Key Stage 3 Curriculum at LEH Foshan Secondary School. It is an engaging and rigorous curriculum that enables students to develop their own academic interests while providing a broad foundation on which to build.
Beyond the curriculum, there are many opportunities for students to participate in enrichment activities, from sports to music, from art to public speaking events. These aim to promote their physical, mental, cultural and moral development and prepare them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life.

Transition to KS4 (IGCSE) Curriculum
After KS3, students will have the profound knowledge foundation and great flexibility to opt for a more bespoke IGCSE curriculum from Year 10, which remains broad, balanced, engaging and challenging.
During Year 9 (last year of KS3), students will choose which subjects to study at Key Stage 4 (Years 10 to 11). These will be the subjects they will take for IGCSE exams. The school will give students information and guidance about IGCSE choices and encourage them to discuss their portfolio with their teachers, tutors and parents. It is important they choose subjects they find interesting and are competent at. Age 13-14 is very young to be choosing a career path so some balance in IGCSE subjects is advisable.
